Product Review: RunBaby Running Belt
Time for another product review! Today’s product is a running belt by RunBaby. I have been reviewing a lot of belts lately, and have found as many similarities as there is differences. I will go into detail about this product so you can make an informed decision for yourself. Most of us know that having something to carry our stuff in when running, hiking or walking, is key. No one wants to have to carry their phone, cash, keys, gum etc… in their hands. Most running gear doesnt have much for pockets. Thats when a great running belt comes into play. #runbabybelt

This front of the belt is made of a very soft elastic lycra material. The back, which sits against your abdomen or hips, is more of a neoprene type material. Again, this is extremely soft also. The orange part measures about 15″ across. The belt expands from 24 to 42″ according to ad on Amazon. The buckle in the back is rather large, and its not something I would want against my back as I would be afraid it would move when running and cause chafing. Maybe if worn low enough on the hips, it would stay put better. I found on me, it moved around too much. There are two slots in the front pouch to slide your phone and items in. Unlike some of the other belts, you cannot flip this one over. I feel that you risk having your phone fall out if it isn’t in there securely. I found I was constantly fiddling with it to make sure that my iphone wasn’t going to fall out. It did migrate around inside the pouch. The logo on the front is reflective, which is nice, and there is a clip to hold your keys.
Most of the running belts on the market will have the seaming on the inside. This one, has it on the outside. It is sturdy, but I don’t find it attractive. I guess for some people, something like this wouldn’t matter as it doesn’t affect the quality of the fabric. The seaming is very well done.
In my opinion this belt would work fine for basic hiking, walking etc. For me, it wouldnt work for my running. I just can’t take the chance of having my phone, cash, or creditcard slip out while Im running. The price is right at $19.99 and you can find it on AMAZON.
