Made it myself and a new adventure

I have been drooling over medal racks for months, wondering which one to buy. Finally my husband told me to just make my own and he would help me pick out the stuff to use. We went to LOWES and got all the things I needed, and also to AC MOORE craft store for some letters.  This is the result. “BELIEVE” is my mantra.. keeps me focused on my goal weight that is within reach finally.. and the “race bling” is self explanatory. What do you think? Does it look ok?

Today I finally did something that I had wanted to do for years, I ran on a treadmill for the first time. On a couple of occasions I had walked, but never  had been healthy enough to run. Well today I went 5.5 miles, and only stopped briefly twice. I struggle when I’m running outside… the temptation to stop and walk is so great and I get sidetracked very easily. Today though, I felt great, was in the zone and went for it. I wonder how my legs will feel tomorrow though.. lol   I have to say this was an adventure for me that will continue, and this winter I will be fighting people for a treadmill at the university fitness center!
Have a good week!

LOVE your bling rack. I am looking for one I love or pieces that I can use to make one too 🙂 GOOD job on the treadmill run. I go through phases where for a while I prefer the treadmill.
