Running skirts?

I am really starting to like the look of running skirts. Classy yet simple and very functional too.  I have never seen any women around here in them, but you know what? I don’t care! Someone has to start the local trend  hahaha…   Recently I have lost 54 pounds, and I have “fat clothes” that I have been throwing away. I did save some of my knits though, and put these aside to make some running skirts.  I love the purple and green. I can even see the brown working with my new purple capris…  I think I’m in sewing/running heaven!

How do you feel about stepping out of your comfort zone to wear something different???

Sounds like a good idea, I’ve seen hiking skirts for men and if they weren’t so expensive I would have gotten one by now. Not sure I agree about the color and print combo though.

  2. I run almost exclusively in skirts! Go for it! I’ve never made one before, but was hoping to for the LL Bean 10K next month…something red and sparkly! I’m always looking for a reason to go to Joann Fabrics!
